Overview

Chatwo is an 1-on-1 matching and chat platform powered by spatial computing, enabling immersive, real-time conversations in virtual spaces. Available on  Apple Vision Pro.

This is a progressive revelation mechanic to encourage conversation before visual judgment.

3 - Developer Hand-off

I collaborated with Unity developers to prepare all UI assets for MR implementation. Unity requires texture dimensions in powers of 2 (256px, 512px, 1024px) for optimal GPU performance and cross-platform compatibility.

I designed within these constraints from the start, organized components into a comprehensive library with all interactive states documented, and exported assets as PNG files with alpha transparency using clear naming conventions.

Through weekly syncs with the developers and PM, I delivered detailed specifications for implementation. This collaborative approach enabled visual consistency while meeting technical requirements.

Our team is actively building a cross-platform game for Meta Quest called "Soul's Journey".

Joining an 8-person startup since my freshman year in college was a crash course in product design. Throughout the past 2.5 years, I've worn every hat from UI designer, 2D Artist, Web Developer, to Marketing Lead. Through 3 shipped products, multiple pivots, and countless iterations, I've learned that the essence of design happens at the intersection of creativity and constraint.

Chatwo taught me to embrace technical limitations as design opportunities, collaborate effectively with engineers, and advocate for user needs while respecting development realities. Most importantly, I learned that shipping imperfect products teaches you more than perfecting something that never launches.

I'm proud of how far I've come, and even more excited about where I'm heading.
